The Family Church Podcast
The Family Church is located in Sugar Hill, GA. At The Family Church we strive to reach up, reach out and reach in. These key words summarize everything we do as a church. It is our mission and mandate. God is doing something special at The Family Church. It is our prayer that you will experience all that God intended through a life lived on mission with Him. Our prayer is that you might know Jesus Christ personally as your Lord and Savior. The forgiveness, freedom and fulfillment every one wants to experience is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sorry! No really...Sorry! Please accept our Apologies...

Unfortunately, while "the church" has done many great things throughout history...it has also done some terrible things. Many religious individuals, believing they were right, have been horribly wrong in their approach and communication of sharing who Jesus really is. As a result, most people (in fact over 85% of our community) want nothing to do with church or God - which is understandable! This Sunday we are going to shed light on those things that have actually hurt (not helped) people. Not only are we looking into what has been out of line with the love that Jesus is really about...we are going to apologize, REALLY! Don't miss what is perhaps, the most controversial sermon The Family Church has ever been a part of.

Join us for Easter Sunday - Breaking Free, the real Easter Story. The Family Church is a safe place. You will be among real people, people who don't know it all or have it all figured out. We are a diverse people with different backgrounds through economics, politics, and even religion; but we are similar in the fact that we have been prisoners of our past, enslaved in destructive habits. God came to set us free. He has broken the chains and set the captives free. That's what Easter is all about. Breaking Free.

Easter is a special day - it's the day we celebrate the freedom that is found through the love of God and the gift of His Son, Jesus. We have been set free from the prison of our life. Easter is not about a religious holiday or the Easter bunny. Easter is about freedom, fulfillment, and forgiveness.

iServe: Lessons at the Table for the iPod generation.

Take a tour of the Mall of Georgia Food court and you'll have no less that 5 people serving samples to entice you to come eat at their establishment. When it comes to finding food there are many options, but one stands out among the rest. Jesus said in John 6:35 "I am the bread of life." Jesus also told a story in Luke 14 about the master telling his servants to go find people to come eat at the Banquet table. The church has the responsibility to feed believers and serve non-believers. In this 2 part series, Pastor Richard reminds us of the guest list, the chairs at the table, the leaf to expand the table, the food that is prepared and served, and the fulfilling bread of life.

As we focus on serving others we find that there's always room at the table, pull up a chair for iServe, a unique two week series wrapping up our iSeries.
